Nutrition makes up 80% of your weight loss, 20% is exercise. Improper nutrition may be why you’re not seeing results.

We’ve had many clients complain that they’re exercising but are still not seeing weightloss results. Many believe that exercising means they can continue to eat the same way or even eat more calories than they had before. Unfortunately, for proper weightloss to occur, individuals must reduce their caloric intake and eat more nutrient-rich foods, since 80% of your weightloss is attributed to what individuals are eating.

Filomena has been operating her private practice for the past 15 years and has expanded her practice to three offices in Vaughan, Bolton, and Toronto. She also conducts corporate workshops and presentations, wellness cooking classes, and grocery store tours on nutrition labelling.

She brings more than 20 years of nutrition counselling experience from in-patient and out-patient hospital setting and through her private practice.  During this time, she has coached thousands of individuals on a personal level and in a group setting, delivering easy-to-understand nutrition messages.

EatRight Ontario is a free service provided to Ontario residents by the Dietitians of Canada that provides easy-to-use nutrition information to help you make healthier food choices. You can even contact a Registered Dietitian to answer your nutrition related questions.

Self Magazine’s Nutrition Data website offers a free nutrition management tool that gives you nutritional information for your favourite recipes based on the US FDA standards.
